Fuel delivery
Out of gas? Fuel delivery for stranded drivers
Out of gas on the road? Call us, tell us where you are, and we check for a local roadside pro who can bring you fuel. This service is for drivers who ran out on the road. We do not fill fleets or tanks.
Call (307) 365-2527Tell us when you call
- Gas or diesel. Tell us clearly. The wrong fuel in the tank is a far bigger problem than an empty one.
- Where you are. A mile marker, an exit number, or the nearest cross street.
- Whether you are in a safe spot. If you are stopped in a lane or on a narrow shoulder, call 911 first.
How much fuel you get
Enough to get you to a gas station, not a full tank. AAA says its own fuel calls bring about one to two gallons. Drive straight to the nearest station and fill up.
While you wait
- Get as far off the road as you can and turn on your flashers.
- If you are on a highway shoulder, stay in the car with your seat belt on unless it is not safe to.
- Do not walk along a highway to find a gas station.
Driving a diesel?
Say so when you call. A diesel that ran dry may need more than fuel before it will start again. Our guide explains why, and what else to do when the tank is empty: ran out of gas? Here is what to do.
What it costs
You pay for the trip, and often for the fuel on top of it. Ask whether the fuel is included when you get the price. Get the full price on the phone before you agree to anything.
